Rotork has been working with BAE Systems to improve a collection of A-range actuators to IQ3 actuators which operate penstocks controlling motion of ships between the ocean and transitional locks and dry docks at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth (HMNB Portsmouth).
A series of A-range actuators had reached the top of their operational life after lengthy service in a difficult surroundings. เกจวัดแรงดันแก๊ส needed to retain all the benefits of electrical actuators, so IQ3 actuators were chosen. These needed to be specifically tailored by Rotork to overcome problems round confined areas and tough entry.
IQ3 actuators and IS gearboxes have been mechanically tailored so that both actuator and gearbox could possibly be manually operated without entering the confined house. Rotork designed particular hand auto levers and through drive mechanisms for the actuator and gearbox to remove the need for confined space access.
