Wilo has made two wastewater therapy acquisitions in Germany: FSM Frankenberger GmbH & Co KG in Pohlheim and WSM Walower Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH in Walow.

Both firms concentrate on applied sciences for mechanical cleansing and therapy of wastewater.
“Thanks to the acquisitions, we are in a position to supply our clients a good wider range of options,” stated Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “We are consistently following our strategic improvement from an professional for heating applications to a holistic solutions provider for all purposes in the transport, use and remedy of water and wastewater.”
The two corporations might be integrated into Wilo’s Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
However, FSM Frankenberger and WSM Walower stay independent and can continue to be run by native managers.
