Pattaya Police yesterday arrested a Thai girl for stealing a bike from a foreigner in Pattaya. The opportunist thief grabbed the chance to steal the motorcycle while the overseas man parked his bike to vomit on the roadside.
The 38 year outdated man named Fiorenzo Cardinali filed a criticism with Pattaya Police after discovering his Yamaha Grand Filano motorbike had been stolen. Cardinali claimed that he was drunk at the time and parked his car alongside Jomtien Sai Song Road to vomit on the roadside at 6am on Saturday, February 25. He admitted to leaving the key in the ignition and the engine working whereas he was being sick.
While Cardinali was vomiting, two people took advantage of the scenario and drove off on the motorbike. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras alongside the highway, which ultimately led the authorities to determine the culprits.
One suspect, identified as 39 12 months previous Sakorn “Ohh” Phumcharoen, was arrested yesterday at her condominium within the Thep Prasit neighbourhood of Pattaya. Ohh admitted to her action and claimed that she stole the bike for private use. The bike was discovered and confiscated by the authorities
The id of the opposite suspect, who continues to be at giant, has not been disclosed in the report.
The cost issued against Ohh has not been reported by Pattaya Police. However, her motion was deemed as snatching, which may end in a potential cost beneath Section 336 of the Criminal Law: whoever snatches one other person’s assets shall be punished with as much as five years in prison and a fantastic of up to a hundred,000 baht.
