“Until a quantity of years ago, using LNG as a marine fuel was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp increase in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels corresponding to container ships and car carriers,” said Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of gasoline pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we aim to extend our market share further within the coming years.”
