Who is Salim Haffar?
I am a citizen of Morocco and France. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Lyon, Department of International Trade. What is EuroTrans? Could you inform us about its significance within the sector and its work?
Founded 50 years ago in France, the EuroTrans Federation at present represents a sector worth forty billion with 600 lively member firms and 8 national associations. You have an active position in the trade on a global scale. Can you evaluate the state of affairs of the power transmission sector in Turkey?
In addition to working within the energy transmission sector for a few years, I can say that our trade has a really dynamic structure in Turkey, as each the President of EuroTrans and a person who takes an active role within the Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (MIB). However, despite this dynamic structure, I suppose that we’ve an extended approach to go in order to attain a competitive position in the world as a sector.
As İ-Mak Gearbox, we’re working for the development of the sector in Turkey with the duties we have taken in both EuroTrans and MIB.
