The yacht is understood to have been indifferent from its mooring and was seen adrift previous to being swept ashore.
This sudden incident occurred as members of the Phuket Yacht Club Community and Phuket Cruising Yacht Club, two revered Facebook teams for the Phuket crusing community, shared the information about the yacht’s location being “at the North end of Khao Khad beach” at roughly 8am.
