Atlas Copco to amass Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to amass the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private equity agency Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used primarily within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics functions.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global gross sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 individuals and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a phase that we have identified as a strategic match for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated technology with a strong aftermarket business,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. “ เกจ์วัดแก๊สหุงต้ม is a strong brand and is thought for high quality in demanding industrial functions. The acquired business will turn into part of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
