Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering techniques. The company employs round 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended tradition of supporting clients and creating leading industrial circulate know-how for environment friendly, exact and safe dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and technology offering within constructive displacement pumps.”

Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complicated process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 staff and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has sturdy engineering functionality, providing complete industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
