Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for model new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has completed a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a brand new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which might be 18m in size and the opposite four are methanol carry pumps which would possibly be 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors that have been designed and built alongside the length of the pumps to monitor the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank throughout installation ensuring that because the pump is lowered into the tank it stays perfectly aligned, reducing vibration and wear during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps had been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
digital pressure gauge ราคา and installation had to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks through the deck before one other deck above the pumps might be constructed. The first section was accomplished successfully over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning staff supporting the client with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO will be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 field, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide up to 90 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It shall be geared up to deal with the monsoon conditions prevalent on the field.
