A. Rigid Shaft Support Traditionally, plastic chemical pumps either have a single sided shaft help or solely use plastic for a double-ended shaft help. The downside with that is that under high temperature or strain, the shaft support weakens leading to shaft deflection and due to this fact vibrations leading elevated wear and reduced service life. The AME range features a patented integral V form front help that’s part of the metallic casing armour after which PFA lined. The rear of the shaft is supported within the PFA lined containment shell and reinforced by a metallic assist ring and high-strength carbon fibre composite cowl. This superior design means a longer design life leading to far less downtime and elevated productivity.
B. Vacuum Resistant Lining The PFA lining is shaped directly onto the metallic armour and designed to ensure the PFA materials stays adhered to the armour even underneath low absolute strain.
C. Load Balanced Volute The casing volute is designed to have an evenly distributed hydraulic pressure, offering a balanced radial loading on the impeller.
D/E. One piece, metallic embedded impeller Traditionally, an ETFE or PFA mag drive pump will be fitted with a separate impeller and inside magnet. In applications of high stress or temperature, the impeller can deform leading to damages and decreased performance. The AME pump vary is built whereby the impeller and magnet capsule are shaped as one piece which eliminates the risk of the impeller loosening. For further operational stability and rigidity, a metallic construction is embedded from the magnet capsule to the impeller blade further rising the pump’s operational life.
F. Simple Construction The stationary shaft design permits for a very simple building which makes maintenance and repairs very simple.
G. Reinforced Containment Shell The plastic containment shell is strengthened with a carbon fibre composite cover. There is not any eddy present loss, so no additional heating of the pumped chemical.
H. High Strength Magnetic Coupling Inner magnets are constructed from Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) in order to stand up to excessive working temperatures without experiencing demagnetization. High energy neodymium (NdFeB) is then used for the drive magnet to provide excessive torque transmission.
I. Back Pull-Out Simple and quick upkeep access with out the need to take away the pump casing from the piping.
