A group of 30 vendors attacked three officers from the Ang Thong Police Station while they had been conducting a product piracy raid at a Thai market in the central province of Ang Thong on March sixteen. The police officers later filed a complaint concerning the assault while the vendors claimed they thought the officers have been faux police.
The deputy inspector of the Ang Thong Police Station, Jakkapong Sisuwan, revealed that he and seven different officers raided a market in the Saladaeng subdistrict of Ang Thong after being notified that counterfeit items were being bought there
During the raid, the investigating officers discovered several retailers selling counterfeit phone circumstances. So, they seized the products as evidence and invited the distributors to the police station for further questioning and prosecution. One man became offended and gathered a bunch of men to attack the cops. They turned off the lights the place there was a free for all and the lads viciously attacked the cops.
Jakkapong said every officer had weapons with them but they did not fight again. Instead, they progressively withdrew from the realm and went to Pa Moke Hospital to get treated for his or her accidents. Jakkapong added that two different officers, Thanit Narkchan and Nonwithit Ditsapong, suffered delicate injuries. Mobile telephones and tablets of some officers had been destroyed on the scene.
The vendors were later summoned for further questioning. They informed the police that they thought the group have been faux cops who came to extort their cash. They claimed that they attacked the officers to guard themselves.
Concealed have not but issued any expenses in opposition to the distributors, and the officers have insisted that they may provide justice for each events concerned..
